I changed the blog theme back to modified Easy Reader. I really liked the overall layout of Box Factory, but the individual post permalinks weren’t at all appealing to me. Maybe I should take some time (ha!) to learn to tweak the code more adeptly myself.

Just installed the Box Factory theme on ckmblr. Still playing around until I get it how I want it (which may take a while yet).

I think I’ve finally found a perfect fit for Linux and FOSS (Free Open Source Software) in general: technology recycling. I’ve been knocking around the idea of forming a technology recycling service in Virginia Beach (just conceptual stages, really) after realizing just how much old technology goes to waste. I just saw Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) on The Late Show, and in the brief 5 minutes of his appearance, I saw more demonstrated Leadership than I’ve seen during the entirety of the Bush II administration.
My money’s on an Obama/Webb ticket, or at least a cabinet seat for Webb if a (wise) Democratic candidate takes the White House. Otherwise, count on him as a front-runner in the next...
