Tech stuff I’ll actually be using regularly.
I look at dozens of pieces of technology per day, ranging from iPods to computers to websites to software. Of those, relatively few actually interest me, let alone make my “daily use” list. The one device I’ve been using more than anything else is my iPhone, and I haven’t been shy about telling folks just how amazing I think it is.
Software and websites are a different thing altogether, though. Not all websites/services are compatible with both my Macs and my iPhone, but I’m finding that the ones that are tend to make my short list of useful tech. For example, I’m using the hell out of Tumblr, and only recently started using Twitter to any regular extent (in support of Tumblr, no less).
I’m noticing that I miss using technology to create, and I find myself longing for a MacBook Pro with a tablet and some decent painting/drawing apps.
