I decided that I needed to try to get out of the house today, since I haven’t been out since I got home from surgery on Wednesday. I headed out for what I thought was going to be a sushi buffet, until I realized the buffet was at dinnertime on Sundays. Fortunately, there was a new Mexican restaurant in the same shopping center, so I had a nice lunch there instead.

While I was out, I couldn’t help noticing just how incredibly freaking gorgeous it was outside, so when I got back home, I insisted that everyone get dressed to go outside. We ended up taking the kids to the park at Trashmore, then went shopping for clothes for Christian, since he has pictures tomorrow.

I ended up overexerting myself, though — I hadn’t planned on that much walking, and I tweaked my knee a couple of times while we were out. Angela & the kids are finishing up shopping as I sit in the car typing this. Also, one of the stitches popped last night after I got out of the shower, but I think it had mostly healed already. I’m going to ice the knee tonight and take things much easier tomorrow.
